Summary
A slow week as may be expected due to the holidays. However, losses dominate the data again this week and we are slipping much closer to that 17,000 number of advisers.

Growth This Week
A new licensee commenced with 5 advisers, previously with the Sira Group. Spark Partnership Group gained 2, 1 from Count and one from Sentinel. Thereafter, a tail of 12 licensee owners up net 1 each including Count Group, AZ Next Generation and NTAA Group.

Losses This week
Losses this week dominated by Craigs Investment Services who were down (-14) advisers. Craigs is based in NZ and it looks like the ‘FASEA’ Exam requirements have caught up with them. AMP Group down (-3), losing 2 at AMP financial Planning and 1 at Hillross. 3 licensee owners down (-2) including Picture Wealth. A tail of 27 licensee owners down net (-1) including Evans Dixon, Fiducian, Perpetual and Viridian Group.

Again this week, very few advisers actually switching in the week of reporting. Only 2 this week, may have been impacted by the holidays. However, this low switching rate has been constant all of 2022 so far.

Year To Date Movement
Not much change this week - Count have now gained net growth of 27, more than double its nearest peer in Castleguard (Lifespan) who are at 13 followed by Diverger at 12.

As for losses YTD, insignia are at (-67) and informed the ASX that they don’t expect things to stabilise until July 2022. Craigs Investment are down (-50) followed by AMP Group at (-39).

Interesting Stat 1 for this week - 11 licensee owners with 100 or more advisers have gained a net 87 advisers YTD. 157 licensee owners that have 20 or less advisers each have gained 259 advisers.

Interesting Stat 2 for the week - 11 Licensee owners with more than 100 advisers have lost (-189) advisers while those with 20 or less are down (-445) with 225 licensee owners . Includes 67 licensee owners closed for (-117) advisers. Note: A small number of groups have like Craigs, dropped below 20 advisers.
