Big loss of advisers this week as reporting catches up after the holidays. A net loss of over 300 advisers. However, there is some good news in the numbers with new advisers beginning to climb.

Weekly adviser movement down by (-20). The loss was cushioned by 13 new Provisional Advisers commencing this week which was good to see.

Weekly adviser movement down by (-49) over this week. We are still anticipate more losses as reporting works it way through with ASIC during January.
Financial Adviser Movement - Dec 23, 2021 to Jan 13, 2022
As reporting rolls in the losses are high but not unexpected. Losses for 2021 are at (-2,930) advisers and this will grow as licensees report in. Some sectors have performed better than others, but all have suffered losses. The only growth appears to be small licensees who provide holistic advice.

Financial adviser losses at (-126) with heavy losses at CBA, followed by Insignia (IOOF) and AMP. The next few weeks will be volatile as the the effect of the FASEA Exam rolls through the data - stay tuned.

A net loss this week of (-37) advisers. We did see a low rate of switching this week which may indicate that more advisers are simply leaving the advice market as opposed to seeking other roles.
